With the announcement today of the lock-down for Melbourne (plus the large number of exposure sites), we are CANCELLING our Friday night basketball games for the rest of July (16th, 23rd and 30th).
We must do everything we can to keep our community, friends and family as safe as possible.
If you answer YES to any of these questions – please get tested:
| · Have you or a family member had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19? |
| · Are you or any household member currently unwell with cold or flu like symptoms? |
| · Have you visited any of the current Tier 1 or Tier 2 exposure sites during the times listed on the Government website: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/case-locations-and-outbreaks-covid-19#case-alerts–public-exposure-sites |
We are very sad to have to cancel the games for the next 3 weeks but feel that the risk to our players is just too great. We will monitor the situation in the coming weeks, work closely with Basketball Victoria and our two fabulous schools, and advise you of any updates.
