Throughout 2018 the Directors of Power Assist developed a Strategic Plan for 2019-2022, reflecting both short and long-term goals to provide a solid framework for the future of Power Assist and the Victorian Championship Basketball Competition for Players with an Intellectual Disability.
This Strategic Plan consists of five focus areas:
- Relationship Management – Build positive relationships through effective strategies to ensure relevance, growth and achievement
- Volunteer Development – Grow our specialised volunteer base to meet the competitions ongoing requirements, and identify, recruit and train general volunteers for appropriate support roles
- Operational Support – Identify administration and operational support tasks that can be delegated / reassigned
- Player Experience –Ensure we provide a professional / enjoyable / social sporting atmosphere
- Financial Management – Maintain appropriate financial governance, investing in grassroots needs and supporting developing pathways
